W.C. Anderson, III, MD

Dr. W.C. Anderson, III was born and raised in Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Military Institute in 1969 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Med before attending Medical College of Virginia and graduating in 1973.  After medical school, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Tripler Army Medical Center and an Internal Medicine residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center.  After serving in Tehran Iran as chief internist for the Middle East, he returned to Brooke Army Medical Center where he completed his Dermatology Residency.  Dr. Anderson is board certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology.  He served 10 years in the Medical Corps of the US Army and achieved the rank of Lt Colonel. Dr. Anderson opened his private practice in Dermatology in August 1982.  He has been honored in the Texas Monthly's "Super Doctors" issue from 2007-2017.  Dr. Anderson and his wife of more than 40 years, Carol, have two sons and a daughter.  Thomas, who received his PhD in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, John, who has joined his father in practice and Erin, who is married with four lovely grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

  

John H. Anderson, MD

Dr. John H. Anderson is originally from the New Braunfels area. He graduated from Texas A&M University, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering.  He received his Medical Degree from University of Texas-Houston School of Medicine where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  After medical school, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine with the University of Texas-Houston Internal Medicine Department and a three-year Dermatology Residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.  Dr. Anderson is a Board Certified Dermatologist and has been honored as a Texas Monthly "Super Doctors Rising Star" in 2015-2017.  

Dr. Anderson is a resident of New Braunfels and is married to Amy, who works as the clinic’s Office Manager.
